Description:
Create a Mineki-Neko, or “Lucky Cat” mosaic on the cutest 10" laser-cut substrate! Led by mosaic artist Donna Van Hooser, you'll learn cutting techniques, design considerations, and material selection and placement. Let your imagination run wild—craft an abstract design, a bold pattern, or a detailed feline face! Various cat face templates will be available, along with a wide selection of materials, including but not limited to Wasser glass, beads, rhinestones, buttons, ceramic Tiny Tiles, and fused glass dots. A grouting demo is included, and while most projects will be completed in three days, more intricate designs may take longer.

I love working in mosaic, especially dealing with the challenges and limitations of the materials. The glass must be carefully chosen from a limited palette, since colors cannot be mixed, and each piece must serve as an individual brush stroke working in harmony with the surrounding pieces.
Cancellation Policy:
- 50% deposit is required to hold your space in the workshop.
- Balance due 30 days before workshop date.
- Full Refund - 30 days prior to the class or workshop minus a $50 processing fee.
- No Refunds - within 30 days of the workshop unless we can fill your space minus a $50 processing fee.
- No Refunds - within 7 days of the workshop.
- Full Refund if workshop is canceled.
